June 28, 2009  Bass fishing at San Carlos reservation the last two weekends of the month. The lake level is very low and the fishing is great. We have been fishing the shorelines with the deepest drop offs. The shad are being chased right up on shore in short and long distance of the shoreline.  I have taken these young men fishing will just use the first names Ben, John, Rueben most of these guys are golfers with a little desire to fish. The trips have produced bass from 3lbs to 10lbs with many of laughs. They each had a good fish caught for their own fish story. The hours of a good fish bite are from 4:30am to 900am and there is no reason to stay and fish through the day they just stop biting. The crappie bite is late afternoon to the evening in about 10’ from the surface. The baits of choice are rubber shad baits and green worms.

July lake will be canyon lake in the evening see you there.
